Studied in Katowice and Sopot with Professor Zbigniew Sliwinski, and in Paris with Professor Suzanne Roche i Vlado Perlemuter. First Prize winner at the International Music Competition in Geneva in 1967. Performed in many European countries, as well as in China, Cuba and in Japan. Professor at the Music Academy in Bydgoszcz and Gdansk. He has also been a professor at the Musashino Music Academy in Tokyo for 5 years. Jerzy Sulikowski is invited as an instructor at the Summer Piano Courses, among others in Vienna and Duszniki-Zdrój. Among his students are many prize winners of national and international piano competitions. In 1996 Mr. Sulikowski initiated the resumption of the International Paderewski Piano Competition in Bydgoszcz.
