Thereis a still growing number of pianists who take part in pianocompetitions. For most of them the last stage of a competition is thefirst contact with an orchestra.

Paderewski Music Association decided to create the Paderewski Piano Academy to give the opportunity for young pianists to play with the Toruń Symphony Orchestra.

When? 
Two groups in two weeks:
August 9th - 15th and 16th - 22nd, 2010
(12 students in every week)
 
What?

 

Oneweek rehearsals with a symphony orchestra (5 days – 30 minutes for eachstudent every day). Gala concerts on Saturday and Sunday for the allparticipants. Masterclasses with world class professors: feedbackduring rehearsals and 5 lessons (1/2h).

Young pianists of all nationalities.
 
How to apply?

 

Fill in the application form from the website and supply references from a well-known musician.
 
The participant with the orchestra during the mastreclass.

The pianists invited to take part in the PPA should pay the fee of 990 €. 
 

Passive participants pay 300 €.  

 

Hotel-Palace (full board) – included.

Domestic transportation, lessons and practicing in the Music Academy, Bydgoszcz – included.

We do not reimburse traveling expenses.
