
The VIII Intenational Paderewski Piano Competition is financed by the Bydgoszcz City Hall

The Competition is a member of the Alink - Argerich Foundation since 2004.

The Competition is a member of the World Federation of International Music Competitions based in Geneva since 2010.
a) the application form completed in block letters with a precise description of the repertoire performed during the Competition and duration time of every work,
b) a recent black and white ID photographs in an electronic form (CD, DVD or e-mail),
c) a photocopy of a candidate’s identity card, passport or any other document confirming applicant’s date of birth,
d) a short artistic resume presenting previous concert experience, participation in other competitions, accompanied by a photocopy of awarded diplomas, prizes, honorable mentions, names of former professors, and completed schools etc.,
e) a reference letter written by a well-known musician or the applicant’s recent professor referring directly to his/her repertoire performed during the competition,
f) the application shall contain all the required documents to be processed,
g) sent documents will not be returned.
All the documents required to apply shall be sent no later than March 31st, 2010 to the following address:

As soon as the Commission has considered written applications, the applicants shall be informed about the acceptance of their form or invitation to the Preliminary Auditions – not later than April 30th, 2010.
The Secretary’s Office of the Competition reserves the right to accept or reject any application. * The application form could be send via e-mail info@paderewskicompetition.pl, but the reference letter and other undersign documents should be send by post or scan and send via e-mail.
